Julius melted down.

But Thibs ruined us.

SERIES was tied 1-1 and coming off a win.

And then Thibs destroyed us.

He made Derrick Rose a starter.

Which

A.) Ruined our starting 5's chemistry.
B.) Absolutely ruined our backup unit.

Extremely fun regular season.

Most frustrating Playoff series ever.

The two guys that got us to the playoffs in Thibs and Julius; became the same two guys who sent us home and eliminated us.

trae is literally hiding on defense and everytime he gets caught on a bad matchup in transition he's able to just run back to somebody else before we make him pay.

reggie and marv don't realize what trae was doing was smart. the shot clock doesn't run but the game clock does until it's under 2 minutes.

Meh.. Hawks with proper coaching were just better than us. Thibs, didn’t help as much as he could’ve, but their role players outplayed ours, and their star player outplayed ours.

We have to see if teams use this blueprint on Julius next season. We have to figure out how to bring back Rose and Burks and Bullock. Three draft picks and we should use them all.
