I think tonight will be the last game he plays in Vegas. Apparently, he will fly out Saturday back to Europe.

Yeah, Barcelona has their first practice of the season on August 18th.

Jokubaitis has potential. I think we should give him 1-2 years of seasoning in Europe and then bring him in.

I agree. Also, when did you start using a Macho Man avatar, I was thinking about using one a few days ago

For sure, he looked nervous that first game (which is why I wasn't worried.)
But he looks VERY composed for someone so young. That is what you get from playing in a pro league.

I hope we let Vildoza go and bring the guy in. Even though we have IQ and Deuce as backups, I think having insurance around in case Rose or Kemba are out for a while.

Nah, I do like having his rights but I think he would be much better suited playing full-time overseas in terms of him reaching his full potential.

Vildoza looks really bad....I guess he gets preseason to try and show something, anything.

I read Vildoza is hurt. I mean that makes sense as how do you go from playing as a professional overseas to stinking it up in Summer League?

I agree that Rokas would do better with another year of experience overseas, but like I said, I was thinking insurance.
Anyway, I think he can always be bought out according to what I heard about his contract. (Unless it can't be during the season.)

I liked how he went from a nervous wreck in his first game to a guy who was almost demanding the ball. Kid has game and confidence. I think he's going to be decent

Vildoza has a sore right foot. He's considered day-to-day. No wonder he looked so bad.

I agree, Vildoza is so much better than what he showed so far. Kind of sad everyone has written him off already.

Didn't know he was hurt. Thought he just sucked really really bad and would have cut him to use the money and roster spot elsewhere.

Hope he gets healthy and shows some value either for us or in trade.

Reminds me of Joe Ingles a little.

I guess the form on the jump shot, but that's about it?

Rokas can handle the ball like Ingles. Rokas can pass the ball like Ingles. Rokas plays team basketball like Ingles. Rokas eats sausage like Ingles.

I saw the Ingles comparison, after Rokas warmed up to playing on US soil. It’s kind of a stretch, but it makes sense. Crafty ball handler, makes up for relatively slow feet with a tactful use of hands, and made a lot of surprisingly smart decisions on both ends. Also, both guys play with their feet virtually glued to the court, like they wear lead boots.

Anyway, he’s got a style of play that is easy to get behind and root for. All of the picks do, really.

Hopefully we keep Rokas for his eventual NBA debut, but he definitely showed enough promise to be a legitimate toss-in asset in lieu of another pick if a big trade comes up.
