yay we're in. Kind of dissappointed Judge and Stanton didn't get to 100 RBI's.

Man that would kill me. When this team loses, though, it seems like they lose ugly

Yea I don't see us winning the WS but as long as we take out Foston I'll be fine.

Cole needs to step up and pitch an ace game tomorrow.
Period.

Exactly. If he's healthy (not sure if his hammy is 100%) he needs to step up and pitch a brilliant game.

Time to prove himself as the best pitcher in the game.

We play well we will win vs the Sox they are not the Rays, Boone against Cora in a close game scares me.

Cora is also known to make boneheaded decisions as well, must be an ESPN thing between those two.

Re: New York Yankees Thread
Eovaldi is not the pitcher Cole is, but in a one game series, anything can happen. I worry that they will try something different and surprise us, scoring a few small-ball runs.
Is Stanton consistent enough to count on him? I have a bit more faith in Judge these days. But who is in Center? Catching is a weakness. And I agree with the general sentiment that Boone is not an intense in-game manager as we used to have with Torre and Girardi.
All in all, I don't see the team going very deep in the playoffs this year, so I'm not going to get very upset about the results of this one game. Win or lose, we need to make some serious changes in the offseason.

He's shown he can pitch in high pressure situations so it may be something physical going on. Not a good sign.

He's on 6 days rest, so hopefully he is healthier now and pitches a gem tonight.
