He's a terrible defender, and unlike the Hawks we don't have Hunter/Reddish to throw at wing players. He's also a awful playoff performer over his career (11ppg, 35% FG 30% 3FG)
We're now asking RJ to be our lone perimeter defender in the starting 5.

Grimes isn't playing over Burks in pretty much any situation, Thibs is not trusting a rookie over a vet.

He's going to carry the scoring load for us on quite a few nights. We needed the offense. Randle and Burks and sometimes Rose just weren't enough as your only semi-reliable scoring options
