No basically we’re running it back with adding a near 20 ppg scorer, IQ, RJ being staples in our rotation who are projected to make a huge jump, and no Elfrid Payton. Deep bench, two solid rookies, great defense, and we’ll see what we get from Obi. Also Julius has more help.

Reggie Bullock is making 10m, Fournier who is 3 times the player is making 8m more for the same term. Huge upgrade

Yeah we did improve. Next year we’ll lose in 6 games in the 1st round instead

Well we had max space for 3 years running and attracted exactly no one. I guess the plan is to be competent, sign guys to deals that’ll be moveable, and hope to acquire a star via trade.

Whatever. I’m along for the ride. Can’t say I love it, though.

Man. I'm glad I'm not one of those suckers who got a potential franchise cornerstone in a cheap deal through the draft. WE got to win a playoff game.

Now if RJ comes in improved scoring 22-25 a game in his third year? Would you think the same? They’re building a team around Randle and RJ in his third season. If he breaks out to stardom, we’re in the same tier as Atlanta

Gotta tank until you at least get that one potential super star player you can build around. If you think RJ is that player then I guess we are making the right moves. I like the guy but I'm not convinced he is that cornerstone player.

Should be an interesting season. Cap space means nothing if you can't get stars to take the money!

That's the exact point.

All of those contracts are very tradeable, and the players are either starters or major contributors.

Knicks have all flexibility to make trades.
