They raw dog thots who get passed around the league but a vaccine that hundreds of millions of people have gotten without issue is apparently scarier.

Funny thing is I don’t fully blame them, it’s their bodies and they can choose to be selfish idiots, a lot of people have. :nonono:

I actually blame Silver more for not nutting up and forcing a mandate and treating any game they missed as them choosing not play aka a self imposed suspension. Let’s see what happens then. Who is willing to forego a season’s salary because they want to be a **** and follow Facebook medical advice.

All the blame can't go on Silver alone. Players have a responsibility as adults and as humans toward the rest of humankind. So, I don't forgive anyone for being a selfish idiot. Besides, even if players don't care about their own health, they should care enough about their teammates' health so they don't unknowingly infect them -- which could end up hurting the franchise and preventing a championship run.

The thing that isn't even slightly surprising is Kyrie Irving taking a highly-public shifty stance on some conspiracy-theory libertarian bullsh*t while referring to himself in the third person as he asks the public to respect his privacy as a normal human being. Right. You and KD deserve each other and I speak for 99% of New Yorkers when I say I can't f*cking wait for you to lose in the Playoffs again. If he actually refuses to play/get vaxxed it isn't because of Bill Gates microchips or whatever crazy f*ckign globalist illuminati sh*t he supposedly believes-- it's b/c he's a giant puss y and knows perfectly well the Nets don't stand a chance to win a 'chip.

I hear you but I disagree. You can’t reasonably expect everyone or damn near everyone to do a few things in life….

1) agree to do something for their own benefit or for the benefit of others. That has never happened on a near total scale. In fact I think we all do things not to our benefit and the benefit of others
2) be able to decipher between both science and propaganda when the propaganda that is antivaxxer is much more prevalent online
3) not be scared of the unknown. Especially when there is a minuscule Chance they could lose the lottery of life and have a bad reaction.

The reason society exist is sometimes people need to be compelled to do things, good or bad. You have to compel people to get the vaccine and a lot of people are having that happen now by their employers or the government. In the long run it’s going to happen to athletes too.

You're right, I don't "expect" everyone to comply, but I certainly do "blame" them for lacking the common sense to comply -- especially when it involves a life-saving move for a once in a generation global pandemic that has killed millions.

They actually boycotted nascar after they banned the confederate flag. They can’t watch any sports at all anymore. All they can do is lay around in their own filth watching oan pureflix and looking at their jizz stained pictures of trump while slowly dying of covid

Has the league clarified their policy, or is Silver still hiding under his desk?
