Dallas guards create their own offense and don't need scoring from Frank. What Dallas is in desperate need is perimeter defense. If Frank fails this operation, he's pretty set to play his entire career in Europe, which isn't a bad look, but he was disappointment in the NBA.

I also think French players don't exactly live up to the hype unless it's a later pick (Gobert/Parker), however I do not expect such things from future #1 Big Vic.

Frank does seem like the kind of guy Kidd would rally behind, similar to how Kidd was rallying behind Porzingis to stay in Dallas. I don't know if Frank makes the rotation.

Nowaway, you just can't be a defensive specialist. You need to provide more on the floor. Brown on the Nets is multi dimensional with his game, he brings energy and defense, but is a solid rebounder and can get some points. The game today demands presentation on both defense and offense. It's a big reason why Lakers can flop, because how many of their players can be two way guys?

MIL/PHX got through the playoffs because they have more guys who can switch and not get slaughtered on defense (Lopez was taking L's but MIL adjusted)

I feel like Knicks have the same switch-ability(vastly improved offense with an already stacked defense). We have an offense and don't have to stress because Payton/Frank/Knox are some of the worst offensive players in the league. Shades of Jamison Brewer.

Big time Frank fan here. Deuce has the fire in the belly we’ve never seen from Frank. Good chance he’s a much better idea for that role.

No one has Frank’s perimeter defense toolset, but Deuce is damn good and all heart. Plus, not only CAN he get buckets, he intends to.
