Very tough game against a superior opponent.

The Knicks have to come out with that coked-up reckless intensity the Magic showed against us.

Don't want to face Chicago sitting on a 2-2 record.

I was an advocate of getting Danny Green. Now, I've been an advocate of that for a while, but I was continuing to advocate VERY close to when his wheels fell off.

I'll take the L there.

Though I blame years of exposure to real Knicks GMs.

I actually think we match up well with the version of the Sixers who don't employ Ben Simmons to play basketball. Lately guards who can hit pull ups have torched us because of somewhat weak POA defense. Sixers really only have 1 or 2 consistent pull up threats albeit one of them is pretty deadly in Seth. I'd actually look to put RJ on Seth to start off and let Randle deal with Tobias. Seth can shoot but he doesn't have the kind of quickness or shiftiness that can sometimes give RJ trouble. You can hide Kemba + Rose on Danny Green or Thybulle.

Embiid is going to get his, but we probably have one of the best Centers possible to deal with him. Mitch has to stay out of foul trouble. I actually hope Noel sits one more game.

Sixers don't have any natural passers on this team. Run them off the line and force them to make the right pass. If you keep this game close late they will fold every time. Even without Ben their late game offense is very suspect outside of Embiid getting hot.

Kemba has traditionally torched the Sixers. Maybe this is his get back game?

This is like 1 of 5 matchups that Mitch did all that bulking up for.

If he can slow down Embiid, this becomes a more interesting game.

We'll see if it pays off.

Joel and Drummyboy both questionable though I'm sure one/if not both will end up suiting up. Hopefully Maxey doesn't expose us - it's already starting to grind my gears watching our perimeter instantly collapse and leave dudes wide open for 3.

Not much else to say, just another early regular season game to get our sh*t figured out on both ends. Hoping for better ball movement and more from RJ/IQ.

Sad that I had to put as much thought as I did into this and still don't know which guys you're talking about - they've all taken turns being bad/invisible/benched.

Expecting a much better effort and energy defensively. Game is on TNT so no excuses for not showing up. Even though Philly is without that diva Simmons, they still have Embiid and Tobias and they are good. Maxey can ball and Curry can look like his bro if you don't get up on him. But aside from the defense, I would really like to see how we respond if our threes aren't falling. Do we keep launching them like we did against Orlando or do we adjust and try to score other ways? RJ is going to have a big game, gut feeling.
