Alright draft experts... who has the best looking shot and that can play defense at the 1-3 position?

Any stretch 5s out there around the 10-14th pick?

Any defensive wizard with SOME offense in their arsenal?

At #12, I would reach for Kennedy Chandler.

I think he'd be a bit of a reach, but I like him too

That free throw percentage is a big red flag though. 61% is extremely alarming, and he doesn't get there much for being the primary ball handler and running a lot of PnRs

I think the potential is there for him to be really good, but not great. Like a Mike Conley type.

Free throw percentage can be improved with a sports psychologist and a shooting coach.

He already shoots the three at a high clip, so it's not like he can't shoot.

6'5 wingspan makes him versatile enough to guard the 1 and 2.

He feels like someone who can already give you a solid 16-20 mpg off the bench, can knock down shots, and is a legitimate pass-first point guard who is not an offensive liability. He is not still learning the position like Quickley is after two years in the league.

He is not a project like Ntilikina or McBride. Maybe he has a limited ceiling, but Chandler seems like he can play now.

The form and explosiveness are nice, but those slow half spins aren't going to work in the NBA, he didn't really do anything at game speed.

I think one of the best shots coming into the draft is AJ Griffin, he's a little wide in his stance but his shot is money. Not sure if he can guard in the perimeter with his size but he's been injured most of the season. In HS he was super athletic but it hasn't shown at Duke last year. Griffin has huge upside and lots of draft analysts feel that he was used incorrectly at Duke and could do much more (because he was the only consistent outside threat and was relegated standing outside to stretch the defense). He's also mocked way out of our range. Dude is like 6'6 and built like a truck.

For the Knicks range if they don't move up, I would love Mathurian if he drops. Two prospects I didn't watch but intrigued with are Sochan and Branham.

I'm goink to go with worse than 11 just to be safe.

Probably 14th.

Cavs and Pelicans move up, along with OKC's 2nd pick.

Just putting this out here = perhaps we should give a shot to Andrew Nembhard the PG for Gonzaga - 5 star in HS, 6'5" and shot 38% from 3 last year. (of course he's probably too expensive for some of u :P  )

He better be great alone in the gym cuz that's all he's been doing for the past 2 years. It's a shame none of the top guys do the 5v5 in the combine cuz it be nice to see Sharpe play at game speed once. I keep thinking about Obi's learning curve coming into the NBA from the A10 conference and he's coming from the EYBL or whatever that high school tourney is.
