He looks NBA quick and a decent finisher. Definitely someone to keep an eye on cuz we all know Thibs loves quick guards that can get to the rim. That step back midrange at the end of the video was really nice.

What’s the range he is predicted to be drafted?

How's Chandler different from that Shariff Cooper of last yr. See this is why I can't be bothered. So much effort on my part last yr and I'll admit, idk ****. If you had told me we'd draft Grimes I wouldve been pissed yet who did I want? Both Tennessee guards, both Baylor guards. Wanted Duarte but never thought he'd get snatched up so early. We thought Sharife wasa can't miss prospect at 20 and instead he goes middle of the next round. Go figure

making that comp just b/c they're both short?

if you watch them, they're very different players. Chandler is a much, much better shooter and can shoot off the dribble. Chandler is also a very good defender despite the height (he does have a 6'5 ws at least)

This draft is a bit of a downer. Not because the kids aren’t good, but it’s really hard to project the majority of them as being key pieces. This is a “Find high level roleplayers” and that is all the Knicks do already.

The Knicks need to get some height and length...especially in the front court in players that have skill. The east is loading up on big and long teams so if the Knicks keep trotting out these short rotations they will be on the treadmill fighting just to get into the playoffs.

The 'small ball' in the modern era is getting taller and longer, the bigs with perimeter skills aren't undersized players anymore, they are legit bigs that are quick, mobile and with perimeter skills.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Jaden Ivey, when under control, is a very good basketball player. His outside shooting was a big concern last year, but the games I’ve seen he has been very good from the 3. His first step/burst of speed is NBA Esq.

He’s not a true point guard by any means, but he finds shooters well. Definitely a NBA SG and has elite athleticism.

He’ll most likely go the 5-10 range with 8 being the furthest I bet he falls.

If a NBA team wastes a top 10 pick on the Center, Duran of Memphis, they should be shot into the sun as well. I get the kids an athlete , but he has no back to the basket game and can’t shoot outside 12 feet. I keep seeing mock drafts where he’s #10. Drafting a non shooting center is like taking a RB who can’t catch in the first round. You just don’t do it nowadays

really like Ivey. torn between he and Hardy

Ivey is probably the more well-rounded of the 2 b/c he's a great defender and solid passer as well, but I don't buy his jumper like I do w/ Hardy. Ivey's shooting %'s are up, but his form isn't as smooth as Hardy, doesn't seem to get great lift

I agree with you. Ivey is a better player overall but hardy is more of an offensive shooting threat.

Id compare Hardy’s game to Brad Beal , with his off ball movement, mechanic of shot, and “defense” lol

Id compare Ivey’s to a less playmaking / better defender Ja Morant. Both poses the quick first step and athletic ability around the rim. Morant coming into the pros was a much better play maker than Ivey whereas I give Ivey a slight nudge on the defensive side

Westbrook is who Ivey reminds me of and Hield is who Hardy reminds me of.

I don't know where we will be drafting but anyone seen Blake Wesley, freshman out of Notre Dame. Looks like a one and done to me that is interesting.

I think this draft is better than the last few, 2021, 2020, 2019.

I think their are alot more good players than people realize and even underestimating the top of the draft.
