But as I previously said, your issue is going to be the pitching, not the hitting. Wingodamus is right again.

Bro, I can't lie to you man, I have no idea how the Mets are doing. Haven't checked at all. Hope your team is doing well.

I also gotta tell you that I feel like your expectations are low. Truth is, yall deserved an owner that would have made you all juggernauts and I think you have one in Cohen (although I'm sure BnO was definitely alright with the Wilpons and completely supportive). Regular season is regular season...it's meh. We've spent a shat ton of time playing the *squints* Orioles. Yankees deserve a team that is gunning for a ring. Not just hoping to win the division or wild card and hoping to get hot at the right time, but a team that is hungry for a ring. Mets deserve the same too. Not sure it's worth you posting here about regular season to be honest.

At this point Wingo is an honorably Yankee fan.

The team goes as IKF goes, need more players like IKF.

I like Rizzo but he's going to regress to the mean. Not sold on Judge having a monster contract year and there's always the injury concern. Gallo is trash, Stanton & DJ might be the only constants.

Mets fans normally get annoyed when the Yankees have any success!

Wingo throwing me off this year, as he usually only posts in the Yankee thread when the Yankees lost or are on a losing streak

Hate to bring this up but Mets cut Cano recently and apparently what Steve Cohen told his team was to make “the right baseball decision.”

18-6
138 games left
Yanks could go .500 the rest of the way, still win 87 games. Not that impressive, and probably 3rd place, but shows how early season wins matter as much as any other time

So ends the winning streak... Time for a new one!

One things for certain, this team is never out of it. I like the fight.

Blue Jays had some tough pitching today. Not even mad about this loss, at least we won the series.

Nestor really has improved a ton. Love seeing pitchers that can just get outs even if they don’t have overpowering stuff.

Cole and Nestor could definitely match up against DeGrom and Scherzer in a series.

Wins don't really matter anymore for pitchers in baseball. Sub 1.5 ERA is ridiculous after 6 games with 42 strikeouts in 32 innings. These are Cy Young numbers from a guy people laughed at as a legit starter.
