I tell anyone who listens how amazing it feels to have a real first baseman on the team again.

Donny, Tino, Tex, Rizzo foshizo. You just can't overstate what a steady glove & bat there does for a team.

Not to mention the bond he and Judge have built, amazing. Not sure if the other 2 big FA 1 sackers would've fit this way.

What impresses me about Rizzo too is that, not only he's a lefty, but he doesn't swing for the fences all the time either. He can get that contact hit if need be.

As good as the Yankees have been do you guys think that they should still look to make a significant or semi-significant move before the deadline? In other words more than just trading Andujar for a prospect or trading a player to be named for a vet that has been designated for assignment by another team.

as long as it's the right guy.

I was originally for Wilson Contreras, but he's not as good of a defensive catcher as advertised and I don't want to mess with that, especially when it comes to our superb pitching staff.

Other than that, maybe some pitching reinforcements would be nice. Pluck a guy or two from Pittsburgh (who the Yanks org seems to have a better understanding of now than ever)

I do want to replace Hicks & Gallo. I think, however, accomplishing that will be a bit tougher especially since no one wants Hicks' contract.

The rumored names are not bad... Benintendi, David Robertson 3.0? , sure there are others too....

Couldn’t have gone wrong with Freeman or Olson, but Rizzo fits NY like a glove. Rizzo is such a classic old school Yankee.

I swear, I know what’s going to happen every time Gallo gets up there with 0 outs, and runners at the corners. Effin strikeout. Can the man just hit a sac fly for once in his life?

1/3 into the season and you could argue that Cole is the worst starter on the pitching staff.

The team was nastily patient with the opposing pitcher tonight. He threw 84 pitches in 3 2/3 innings; think Gleybor accounted for 20 of them in 2 at bats

On pace for 121 wins. We’re either become the 1998 Yankees or 2001 Mariners

Cubs also won 116 games, ironically both the Cubs and Mariners lost to the Yankees. I’m just enjoying the day to day process. Of course it’s championship or bust it’s the Yankees after all. Just take it one game at a time one series at a time.

Houston still scares me & the year we're on pace to win a million games there is expanded postseason :banghead: the other 3 teams in the AL East are still dangerous.

Any other division, the yankees would be up by 18 games by now

Rizzo is actually playing better than Freeman now. I think we should try to get a bullpen arm by the deadline and an outfielder. Tired of seeing Gallo's .180 batting average it's awful.
