Wall to wall Wall.

Russell W. is washed.

Flatso* is a cancer who hurts teams from college to Cleveland to Boston and Brooklyn

*Flatso is the Flat Shaming name for Kyrie Irving, of course.

I don’t want Kyrie anywhere near Barrett or Quickley. Gimme Wall.

I think the Knicks should in any case do a trade for Wall, sending Rose, Noel, Walker and Burks. I'd want the Rockets to throw in Daishen Nix as well, although that wouldn't be a deal breaker.

This is addition by addition plus subtraction.

Wall stands to be better than Rose - or at worst a toss up as to who is more washed. Further, the deal prevents Thibsdale from defaulting to various overused vets. It also clears a couple of roster spots, e.g., for draftees. And Nix is an interesting prospect. At the very least we would get to hear Clyde taking about the Knicks' Nix.

This deserves a caveat, because most fans want to tank so motivation is key

Do we even know if John Wall has legs anymore? Has anyone actually seen him walk in the past 3 years?

I mean, he suited up for the first part of the '20-'21 season and dropped 20 a game and it's pretty common knowledge that the Rockets simply shelved him. I'd vastly prefer him to Russ for a pure salary dump. If he can't be effective he's shown he won't be a distraction.

That's the idea of getting Wall. Not that he would be good but that it might help us trim the fat without creating a huge circus.

Want no parts of Kyrie.

Kyrie is bound to get re-signed. If the knicks bite and Kyrie goes through with one of his bullcrap tendencies not to play, y'all are going to have some glorious meltdowns in this board.

Kyrie is a nets fan and he didnt even regret not getting vaxxed and not being able to play

I’d want Russell to run the tank on his expiring.

I go Westbrook if I’m trying to tank and want to get rid of every undesirable contract I have. Some would say Randle, but I’m looking more at Fournier. Heck, both of them, go crazy. The problem with that approach is that there isn’t a single realistic max cat over the next two years. The best players available are going to be via trade. So you’re clearing cap for nothing. 2019 all over again.

Westbrook (buyout, not touching the floor) for the draft picks we'd get back.

trade Randle for Wall or Westbrick, idc. Just get him and his contract off this team.

It's impossible to answer the question in a vacuum without knowing the contract and the cost.

Wall - Houston does not have any interest in getting rid of him because they are tanking. They will not give us assets or some value. In the best scenario, they accept some expiring for Wall (I do not think we have enough to match his salary) or simply buy him out. In a buyout scenario, I see a 20/2 (MLE) contract as the most reasonable offer.

Kyrie - Considering Kyrie does not like the Knicks and we are not a contender, I do not think he would give us any discount at all. He may even rather go to the Kings if they are willing to pay more. We would have to sign and trade him giving some assets to the Nets (Cam + Burks + Noel + Dallas pick). A 120/4 or an 80/2 contract is the worse I would see him accepting.

Russ - - I do not think the Lakers are too interested in our players. Maybe a package with Burks, Cam, Fournier, Noel, and Kemba for Russ + THT or Nunn + a couple of seconds or a protected 27 pick..
