Bring back Pinson & Grab GPII

Both could be had for pretty cheap. We need great chemistry guys on the bench (Pinson) and we need great defenders we could throw at the other team's best players (GPII).

IE... winning players. Do not underestimate having a strong bench and locker room presence. Chemistry is vital (see Boston's turnaround).

No offense to u sol, just had to laugh at this. I also doubt the warriors let payton walk or he'd wanna leave a top notch organization to come to this question mark. That's a HUGE swing

Gp2 is an under the radar signing , elite defense super efficient but low volume offense can bring a lot of what Caruso and Lonzo did to the bulls from the defensive end .

exactly this.

also, guys are pinson, haslem, etc. are underrated. Is it a coincidence that this team had better chemistry (and results) last year with Pinson being 100% positive 100% of the time vs. this season where we had so many chemistry flare-ups...

I've been on both side of the wall on this... it makes a big difference. One debbie downer could kill a team, and vice versa.

We have to remember we have to manage roster spots and we already have:
12 players under a guaranteed contract (Kemba, Rose, IQ, Deuce, Burks, Evan, Grimes, RJ, Cam, Obi, Randle, Noel)
TAJ unguaranteed 5M contract
Mitch Cap Hold
Picks 11 and 42
FULL MLE available
2 2Way players (Hunt and Sims - who needs a standard contract sooner or later to not be an RFA player in 2023).

We need to clean the house first and only then think about bringing more cheap role players.

We would have to use at least an amount of the MLE to sign GP2 for about 5-10M. (The alternatives are open cap space, or use the 4M Biannual). I do not think it is impossible we beat GSW because their payroll and repeater luxury tax are astronomic and they might decide to save money. But we would have to give up to bring a player like Bamba to be Mitch"s
replacement or Jones/Rubio to be the starting PG if we use the MLE in GP3.

Besides, we have a great logjam at the wings too. We have Burks, Evan, Grimes, RJ, and Cam for the wings. IQ can also get all his minutes at the wing if we get a starting PG somehow and the reserve spot is taken by Rose or Deuce. To make the logjam even worse, the best players available at the #11 spot in this draft are wings too.
