ANNOUNCEMENT

All of the team pages for the 2022-23 season have been posted. Please take a look at your team page and make sure that all of the info got transferred over correctly. Please also check the draft pick page and make sure that all draft picks are correct including any protections that may or may not have carried over to 2023 and beyond.

The 2022 Build a Franchise draft begins tomorrow morning at 6AM when wackbone and the Boston Celtics go on the clock. The complete draft order along with all draft eligible players can be found in the last post of the main stickied thread. As in past years, first round picks can be made at any time during your two hour window. Picks are made by PM'ing me your selection. If the team picking before you turns in their pick early and you are on the clock, you are free to submit your pick before your time slot begins.

I am working tomorrow and will not be able to access my computer for a portion of the day. If a pick has not been announced when the time expires please do not assume that your player is still available. I will logon as often as possible but there will be a time that I may not get a submitted pick posted. If you are on the clock, the pick before you has not been announced yet, and you want to put your pick in, please submit two players in your PM, a first and a second choice just in case the team before you picked your player.

Any team that does get their pick skipped can make their pick at anytime. If a team gets skipped over by three subsequent teams, then that team will be assigned the highest remaining player in the nbadraft.net mock draft. Players get the salary of the draft slot they are taken in. If you originally have the 20th pick but get to pick #19 because of a skip, your team pays the salary of the 19th draft slot. All transactions that have been made since the season ended will be posted at some point tomorrow. Extensions, trades, etc. will be posted as soon as I get a free minute. As always, PM me any questions...good luck to all teams as we start the 2022 offseason!

I think Banchero is pretty disrespected pre-draft. I definitely considered ^ but I think with the state of my team I needed a bucket. In real life and in the sim. I think Banchero has the better chance to be that early on. He’s very advanced offensively for his age. More buckets to come in the draft to Minnesota hopefully

Yeah, of the top 4, Paolo is my #1, Jabari and Chet are 3 and 4

Just cause shot creation, I think if you have the guy you think is gonna be your #1, Jabari would be a good pick, and Chet has insane potential as a stretch-5 who's also absurd on defense

But starting from scratch, I put those two slightly behind.
