I like trading down.

Knicks front office were at all the lottery prospects pro days so I wouldn't read too much into that list. Teams also have secret workouts all the time.

I haven't formed an opinion about any of these players (outside of some specific concerns about the top 3), but I don't like the idea of trading down or trading out (for a non-star).

Looking back at most drafts, you will find a top-tier talent or two in the 10-20 range. Historically, this player gets drafted in the higher end of that range, more often than not.

As far as trading out is concerned, I'm fine if the pick goes as part of a bigger package for a legitimate star (barring an overpay by my definition). But if it's to build around this core by adding another non-difference maker, then we're wasting a pick for a pointless pursuit.

Trade up or stand pat and draft the best talent according to your scouts at 11.

Out on Griffin also. We need less awkward players and more smooth operators on this team. Try and find one of those please.

Here, there seems to be an obsession with decreasing the Knicks chances of drafting a stud at 11 or higher up.
