They gave Kemba his retirement tour, they rolled the red carpet for Steph who never actually played for them, surely they can do something for the best Knick since Patrick Ewing.

Only way this sorta works is if Julius is gone. Thing is we actually have some good scorers already, but lack defense and passing. Melo helps with neither of those things, and he will just be a distraction as he goes on some farewell tour. Our young guys need to be shooting and playing more, not watching Melo chase scoring records. He’s going to fall back into thinking he’s the man here again lol.

So, Melo comes back, who is traded out to accommodate his playing time?
And somehow, player X is traded out, but without anything coming back, ignoring that there aren't many teams right now who can accept players into cap space.
So, it would have to be a two for one.

Why would Melo want to play for such an abjectly sh*tty team like the Knicks?
Again, I'm just collating opinions on here. At least half the posters hate the team, hate the moves they made and think the players they brought in suck.
I guess one last chance to empty Dolan's wallet, secure that post playing job sucking Dolan's ass at MSG.

At this stage in his career, Melo is not a starter. He's a 20 minute backup PF, probably retiring after next season.
