How the NY Media cover the Knicks vs. Nets

It's funny to me how the New York media are silent about the dysfunction that's going down in Brooklyn. For decades, the Knicks have done anything this big, you see Frank Isola, Howard Beck, Berman go scorched earth on the organization, but right now they're quiet on Brooklyn's house burning. I know they have beef with Dolan as well as every Knicks fan on the planet, but this is ridiculous. If you're going to blast the Knicks for things like this, do the same for the Nets, or they really in bed with Marks and Tsai like that?

There would be a segment on every sports talk show and, articles in every form of sports media out there. Knicks would be getting crucified! They would also be talking down KDs value and Kyrie too. It would be an all out assault on the team and the players.

I'm not saying they should give a damn, but in terms of how this inferno of dysfunction is circling, and being a bridge away from MSG, media outlets should be incinerating this worthless franchise.

i think its because their fanbase is nonexistent.

I think it is fair to say that, considering the pathetic failure they’ve been for decades, the Knicks have by and lange gotten a pass too, despite all the moderate criticism that has indeed been brought up.

The media doesn’t care because the fans don’t care…. The Nets fans I know are mostly just KD fans.
