nice to see brunson, rj and randle play well. hopefully it continues. if they play well, knicks will be fun to watch

Team looked good and didnt even have Grimes tonight

Quickley looked like a point guard the few minutes I streamed the game in the 4th quarter. Deuce looked like the best 3rd string point guard in the NBA. I think we are gonna be pretty deep at the point this year.

I got annoyed at two consecutive traveling calls on the Knicks. So thats when I stopped watching.

Fun game. We beat a team we should beat. They looked good doing it. Faster pace. Ball was moving around. Looked like Randle was trying to be a team player to me. Defense. Transition. I have no complaints. Nice test run.

Brunson looks good. That's the big move they made this summer and it looks like they made the right choice at PG. FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME.

I've been saying we need a point guard for years.

Now, we have a point guard. It's going to be different, and I hope we can maintain a high level of play against better competition.

He had a stretch in the 3rd where he looked somewhat unbridled at PG (Clyde voice) but it was kind of deep garbage time.
So he took the opportunity to force some drives and get layup work in - some worked, some didn't, but I think that's a good thing.

But yes, he looked solid at PG in other times

I get Grimes was out, it's preseason and Cam got hurt, but Thibs featured a LOT of small guard lineups:

Brunson/IQ, IQ/Deuce

I think he's experimenting so IQ can play alongside Brunson in the regular season - not starting, but how it will look with potential larger minutes

Who was the weak link tonight? Was it Reddish? Seems like everyone else that matters looked nice.

Cam is such an enigma. Hits his 1st shot (a deep 3) then proceeds to play erratic for the rest of his mins. Tops it off with an announcement after halftime that he’s done for the night after getting injured (again). Certainly didn’t do himself any favors regarding his bid for mins.
