Florida Report:

DeSantis may be in trouble. Ian wiped out Fort Myers and the state run insurance network is facing collapse.

Well, guess what? The Florida legislature recently tabled the agenda of shoring up the state's insurance system at DeSantis' insistence in order to attack Disney and gay kids. And then along comes Ian.

Well, Florpublicans only care about harassing gay kids as a side gig, but property values are what makes this state tick and now because of Ian and DeSantis' neglect their insurance premiums are doubling. People who paid $5,000 a year in wind and flood insurance will now pay $10,000. It is not hard to pin that huge bill in your mailbox on DeSantis.

Plus, Charlie Crist is a familiar face, he was governor once already, he is not controversial and even if you're a GOP voter you won't necessarily feel threatened by him.

And Rubio is a gutless cum stain that only pond scum respect so he may be vulnerable too even if polls have him ahead of Demings.

Anyway, Republicans are Republicans because they consistently vote against their interests so while upsets are possible it is still likely still going to remain a Red state. But there is a legit chance now to flip this.

Representative Steve Scalise, the number two House Republican, defended his party’s approach to Medicare and Social Security, which has become a campaign issue ahead of US midterm elections in November. It’s a mis-characterization to say the GOP plans to “cut” the programs, Scalise said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Democrats need to campaign on the GOP's plan to kill Social Security. This should be the # 1 reason for senior Republicans to flip their vote

And unlike the Republicans, this would not be engaging in false fear mongering. It's the actual truth

We have a lot to run on particularly when you compare it to what the Republicans will and won’t do. We need a coherent messaging campaign platform but that’s always been our problem. This shouldn’t even close.

Do we have an election correspondent down in Georgia who can correctly decipher WYF Hershel Walker is talking about?

I have little faith that the key demographics needed to ensure that Biden maintains the House and gets a Manchin/Sinema proof majority in the senate, meaning white women and seniors, will not vote against their best interests. These two groups have time and time again proven to be an unreliable voter bloc. I know that we're seeing a record number of women registering because of Dobbs, but man...I will have to believe it to see it.

The fact that some of these races are close with Republicans openly calling for gutting social security/medicare and the abortion issue, which is a life or death situation for women, makes me think that there are way too many ppl in this country who value culture war issues (aka white christian evangelical fascism) over their own health and quality of life. They would rather die destitute or of complications from a pregnancy than sharing an improved standard of living with everyone else in America.

That's just the start. Usually Republicans go too far with wanting to cut things, yet not decrease taxes. That's like earning less money, but spending the same amount

This is a little off topic but fascinating. The guy who gave the FBI the pee videotape information, Igor Danchenko, was acquitted by a federal jury in Alexandria, Virginia of lying to the FBI. Hmmm?

Trump’s Durham Investigation takes yet another hit. lol

Somewhat complicated subject, but Durham's investigation has been a clown shoes show

Walker can't read his own drivers license he may never read anything he signs if elected.
Warlock is a rubber stamp for clown world authoritarian democrat war mongers.

What choices.

Governor race we have an election result denier who hasn't had a job for 4 years in Abrams.
Kemp is milk toast but at least he told Trump to eat a dick, kept the sate open compared to the authoritarian democrat hellscapes and passed constitutional carry.

I believe the only outcome of that was Clinesmith being sentenced for falsification of documents for a FISA warrant on Carter Page. That was wrong and the punishment is fair, but other than that Durham was rolling donuts and he has admitted as much. One agent's misconduct did not lead to uncovering a conspiracy. Since Durham was appointed by the guy who obfuscated the Mueller report it is pretty clear it was another classic GOP Benghazi-style maneuver of misdirection via investigation from the get go. Trump has an espionage indictment looming and for all we know the trail leads to Russia which he was clearly working with.

What’s so complicated about Trump getting peed on?

Just let us enjoy for the moment the possibility of this actually having happened, will ya?
