OT: Fournier and Kenny Smith get Scalp Micro Pigmentation

I was wondering why Fournier’s “hair” looks a little weird at times, and my boy told me it’s because he got scalp micro pigmentation, or smp.
If you dont know what that is, it’s a new thing that came out around 10 years ago. Basically subtle little dots that look like follicles are tattooed on your balding areas/scars to give the appearance of a shaved head. It’s permanent but should be touched up every 3-5 years apparently. Seems to cost $1-2K initially and a few hundred bucks for each touch up.
When he doesnt shave you can notice it on his hairline and crown:

When he shaves it looks way better:

Fournier is just lazy with shaving his remaining real hair I guess, as you’re supposed to shave with no guard or with a razor every few days. But the guy is completely bald on top. Pretty cool actually if you like a shaved look and dont wanna get an expensive transplant (they cost at least $10-20K usually) that may not work and/or take hair drugs.
Kenny Smith also got it lately:

PJ Tucker is confirmed all smp too:

Chris Paul and many others likely got it as well. If it’s done right and you keep it shaved you can barely notice anything. Lots of places do it around the world and in NYC now I see.
Anyway, thought this was funny and interesting to share. Never heard of it before. One day there will be a real cure for baldness for the follicle challenged. Lebron is just waiting to retire to get another hair transplant. SMP would probably look alright on him though.
