New Orleans lost to Memphis

I remember when E-balla was talking schit saying they was gonna finish the season at a 50-win pace and I was like “yeah, ok!”

Boston was talking all that junk and lost again!

Now just two more teams have to handle their business.

Changing my lineup a little. 38 minutes for my best 5. Giving Williams all of Hunters minutes and letting Dieng get some time in at SG. If any of my two old guys gets injured, hopefully its not major and they have time to recover for the playoffs.
I just don't think I can beat the top six or so teams if I don't crank up some minutes for DeRozan and Brook. BAF did not give Hunter his due. Hunter has outplayed Williams in the NBA this season; but BAF likes Williams better. 6'9" Dieng gives me some hellacious size at SG. Lets see how the rookie does for a game or two

That was before they traded Drummond and with it any interior threat they had.

Gotta have bigs. That goes for BAF and the NBA.

Got you coming up. Will that be the Harrell return game? Also have to play Denver again, Portland again, Clippers again, and the Spurs two more times. I’m probably missing some, but that’s what I know for the West. Not sure about the East.

He's back for tonight's game against Miami. Getting the start at PF, still running a deep 9 man rotation tonight. Hopefully I figure it all out in time for the next 3 I have some barn burners coming up.

Washington beats Boston!

Now just one more team has to handle their business for the humbling experience of a clean sweep!

Dieng scored one point but at least he grabbed 4 boards. I will probably use Hunter as 2nd team SG in the next game against Orlando.
Good game DN/Phoenix

Great W over Fatboy even if he's tanking. Harrell had 34 on 22 shots, you'll take that every time.
Dallas losing also gets me a small cushion. If we can end up 63-19 we should have the 2nd seed locked up.

If I can play .500 ball, Cleveland needs to just about go undefeated to catch me for the 2nd seed in the East. A big turn around from last season; I really want that.

Yeah I passed up on a deal around him and McDaniels. He's been averaging 15/3/4 with 58/43/81 shooting splits (an absurd 73 TS%) since the trade deadline. He's going to be a star someday (20-24 ppg while remaining efficient as hell at least).
Hopefully McDaniels being 2 years younger, at a position that's overrated in the sim (PF/C), and a defensive maestro makes up for passing on him. He's been averaging 15/4/2 with 53/44/70 shooting splits (a much more modest but still great 64 TS%) since the trade deadline. Honestly I'm just hoping he becomes a 90+ defender.
If everything works out Slo Mo (98th percentile by reliable +/- stats/9th amongst non Cs in DFG%), McDaniels (90th percentile/2nd to Draymond amongst non Cs in DFG%), Allen (94th percentile/anchoring #1 defense in the league), and Diallo (98th percentile/37th in DFG% under expected) are all super efficient 90th percentile rated defenders with a history of being defensively great in the sim, Jock Landale is 87th percentile (2nd best bench big in DFG%/FWIW should be super efficient inside the arc next year even if he's buns from deep), and I should be wheeling out a defensive frontcourt that can compete with what MPH put together in San Antonio. Lonzo also shouldn't go down at all and I'm betting perimeter DEF ratings rebound a bit next year after the decline they had this year. Basically if I get lucky it's possible I can have a whole 80+ DEF starting 5 headed by 2 95+ overall guys. I'll be paying close attention to patterns in the DEF ratings, if I can figure that out I'd basically rule the sim.

Coming from someone that's clearly already figured out how defense ratings are calculated and rules the sim lol.

Pretty sure Austin Reaves was going for two 2nd round picks at one point lol. I just didn't have them at the time, and when I did circle back his value had gone up. Don't sleep on 2nds and don't be afraid to take chances on players you believe in.
