First former U.S President to be facing federal criminal charges


This is a wonderful day but at the same time will be the lowest point in U.S. politics. But then again, tomorrow is another day and I'm sure there will be a new low.

It's nothing but a great day, especially with SCOTUS ruling to uphold voters rights and dismantle prejudiced gerrymandering.

The lowest day would be not bringing traitors to justice so I see nothing about today being a new low. It's a needed corrective in response to the lowest points.

Yes, that's the unfortunate irony

However, the narrative of Trump still running is what the media will push as much as it continues to produce clicks for cash. The irony of that is it really is the worst thing possible for the GOP if he stays on the ballot while he goes through multiple trials, because he would not be a viable opponent. Yes, much of this country is brain dead and would still vote for a traitor, but not enough to elect him.

I kind of relish the idea of him running while getting his ass torn to bits in court and being sentenced to doing hard time before November 2024.

Trump was given the opportunity to return the files. He gave back some files while lying and claiming that was everything. He was busted still holding numerous other classified documents, some of which were the highest classifications regarding our nuclear secrets (think about that, specs, locations, protocols, scenarios). Additionally, multiple folders were found with the documents missing. That, plus the archives also identifying what files were missing, meant Trump placed or distributed classified information in other locations or with other people not cleared to view these documents. So what's the difference?

Sharing classified information with non-cleared personnel and foreign entities is espionage. So what's the difference?

Both Biden and Pence not only cooperated with the National Archives to return the documents, they both asked the FBI to search their properties for other possible documents that need to be returned.

Now, why are they not being charged with multiple federal felony counts for espionage, false statements, and conspiracy to obstruct justice, but Donald Trump is? What's the difference here?

He also admitted on tape that he didn't have the authority to declassify the documents that he stole.
