So, just to clarify -- we dropped Jeffries prior to probably the first game he would receive meaningful playing time?
iHart/Taj
Randle/Hart
Grimes/GoodGriefCharlieBrown
DDV/Fournier
Brunson/McBuckets.

I was actually looking forward to seeing us unleash the kid.

I read that we needed to for salary reasons. Or maybe roster reasons since we sent out 2 players and took in 3

Ryan Archipelago makes the exact same and he is just a victory cigar we could re-sign later.

Jeffries was also a victory cigar and Ryan is friends with Brunson. Surely you know how this team operates

At least Jeffries played like he was developed by Thibs. Ryan would just be re-hired as an assistant coach and signed again before the playoffs for Fournier's spot.

Precious looked bad to me but also like someone Thibs can plug into his template and so he'll rely on him heavily.

It means the Knicks will finally be able to hide Brunson and Julius on the opposing team's worse offensive player, which will allow them to have energy late in the 4th quarter.
