In my second full game of the season my takeaway from an aspiring 'elite" team -playing one of the worst teams in the league.

1. We come out the gate and bury them...Not something we were use to in the past...
2. Our best players - make shots they are suppose to make.
3. When we get a blowout lead -we keep the blowout lead.
4. The Denver Nuggets have an 18-0 record against sub 500 teams. We have a 14-1 record against those teams.
5. This team looks like an elite team.
6. Is it me or does Randle not look settled?

Stealth move coming back right after the OG trade to make game threads.

Knicks win by a million points and McBride/Grimes contribute. OG with a great offensive performance as well (on top of his usual stellar defense). Hartenstein on the boards and Josh Hart doing intangible things. Don't really care that Randle and Brunson didn't dominate. Those guys are going to get theirs. When all this other stuff is happening, that's when the Knicks looks formidable.

I can't remember the last time our team could stay in front of their opponents on D. OG takes the toughest assignment which makes Grimes, DiVincenzo, McBride and Hart all look much better. Even Randle seems to be trying. Even though Portland is bad, holding an NBA to 84 is not easy. Our defense looks legit.

2 points in only 13 minutes. Weird. He usually sees a lot more time than that.

Good to see Grimes being more aggressive even if it's again a terrible team like Portland.

I hope that's the last we see of Precious getting playing time. Dude sucks. Has bad instincts, late reacting on everything and he can't protect the paint.

We probably need a big like Olynyk more than a backup guard since Thibs won’t play a backup guard more than 10-12 mpg anyway.
