Being from NY n growing up in the heart of street ball it's so strange to see that these kids have no dribble or handle...

They seem so scared to attack the rack or at least try to get past they man... it's mad bizzare to see

I remember when Ewing was at the end of his Knicks career he had difficulty handling the ball. Whenever he’d try to post up, defenders would easily strip it away from him.

But looking back, there was a good reason why he had this problem: He had a lot of mileage by then and was battling injuries.

There is no reason why professional basketball players nowadays who are in the prime of their career should be so awful at something so basic like ball handling. Isn’t that what their coaches teach them from a young age?

steph curry effect. everybody wanna be a shooter now.. even tho curry is just as deadly with his handle and getting to the hoop

I love watching Brunson because the effectiveness of his handle is compounded by his amazing footwork. It makes him fairly unique.

Thinking that these players have bad skill level is naive imo.

Dribbling a lot of them do. Look at Grimes. He's so afraid to try to beat anyone off the dribble. His skillset is very limited right now

Different for a 7 footer tho lol

I'm talking moreso about smaller athletic players

It can be argued that even at his size Ewing had better ball handling ability in the prime of his career than many smaller guys today.
