Fortunately, it's not his shooting hand but still have to await MRI results.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31439428/This is a study of 50 players suffering shoulder dislocation.
Results: All players (50/50) returned to game play after sustaining a shoulder instability event. In those treated nonoperatively, athletes who sustained shoulder subluxations returned after an average of 3.6 weeks, compared with 7.6 weeks in those who sustained a shoulder dislocation (P = .037). Players who underwent operative management returned after an average of 19 weeks. Athletes treated operatively were found to have a longer time interval between a recurrent instability event (70 weeks vs. 28.5 weeks, P = .001).
8 Weeks for shoulder dislocation unless it requires surgery, 19 weeks.

The good news in the surgery scenario - it decreases instances of recurrence.

Knicks should not make a desperation trade unless they think they are title contenders this season. Keep building the roster to get to the point of being a title team, if they can get someone to help this season while not hurting the chance to bring in a top-tier player in the future it makes sense.

If it was a clean dislocation, that is a best case scenario.

These recovery times posted are concerning.
I'm torn between blaming the melo curse or all of you who have been trashing Randle. Either way we can't have nice things.
