We were thisclose to missing out on the BRUNSON

We had already signed Brunson when the talks with Utah were being held

Right, but if Mitchell was here, would Brunson still be Brunson? I would suggest that no, he’d have to step back and be the 2nd option and not have the opportunity to prove that he was actually better than Mitchell.

Wait, have you not heard the second law of message boards? The first law is everything must be reduced to two opposing binaries. The second law is that each individual would be exactly the same regardless of external circumstances like which team, teammates, and coach he plays for.
By message board logic, the Brunson-Mitchell backcourt would average exactly the same stats as they have now. And also you’d have to choose between team Donovan or team Jalen because there’d be totally non-fabricated beef.

More likely, they'll go 3-6.
The schedule isn't easy, Randle is WAY more important than people think, OG is now hurting and looks like he'll be losing games, and even iHart isn't 100%.
Wait until the Knicks play some team with an actual half assed commitment to defense or the Pacers, who don't defend at all, but look to score 140 each game. Think this team has enough offensive firepower right now to put up 145? No.
