His 10-day contract ends on February 8th. (The trade deadline.)

We could still make a move before then as long as we're not taking back multiple players.

I didn't post it, but I had the thought after Randle's injury that "Taj will be back'. Time will tell if they made a trade, until they do, this is depth and they need that right now. I expected this move.

On the positive side, the 5-10 minutes a game Thibs will insist Taj play in means saving some wear and tear for someone else that Thibs otherwise may try running into the ground.
