I’m curious to see how he rebounds. I still think he’s a good player.

the guy scored 31 i think in his first game for us. and i still think he was a guy, that was incredibly mismanaged and got his career destroyed by thibs. im normally a thibs supporter but sometimes he doesnt know how to deal with people at all.
especially shooters need reps, rythm and confidence. you cant tell me he wouldnt be willing to bring the effort for 10-15 minutes and shoot some 3s. especially when we desperately needed shooters last year in the playoffs. he shot almost 40% in his 1st year with us from three. and all off a sudden the guy couldnt get a minute anymore

We never should have signed him but he kept it professional and we ultimately used his contract to improve the team.
So Thanks Evan! Hope he gets to play now. I really didn't like the idea of picking up his option for him not to play. Just a bad look all around.

I think it’s fair to say that Thibs saw Fournier in the same way. Thibs was basically on the hot seat for the Knicks for a while until he benched Fournier.
Honestly, he kept it professional and I’m glad we didn’t need to pick up his option and keep him here another year. Wasn’t fair to him, probably wasn’t the best case scenario for us.
Hope he can rebuild his career too. He got paid here but his benching impacted his future earnings.

I've been watching the Knicks all year and I don't remember this guy. Who is he?

didn't mind the signing - but it was too much money at the time.
should have been a sixth man/bench scorer from day 1.

He basically got screwed over...he couldn't play a lick of defense so he was expendable...

Does anyone think he gets bought out or team option is not exercised?

Really -- screwed over? How many of us would refuse his salary to sit on the Knicks bench for a few years?

Did you know he's #1 in franchise history with 3PM?
That's all I got.
