Knicks always lie about all of their injuries and pretend it's nothing serious. What a weird ass organization.

I can’t stress enough how refreshing it is to have a front office that doesn’t get fleeced on trades and one that can actually keep critical information in-house. NO MORE LEAKS

This way was better. Teams would’ve taken advantage in trade talks

OG is unfortunately a player that is always getting injured and missing games. One of the big downsides of the trade.

Gotta be happy that a good chunk of that time out will be during the break. And we're still winning games with all these injuries.

Perfect timing honestly. Get it out of the way and get ramped up for the playoff push.

Adding Burks and Bojan will go a long way

he should have done that two weeks before... the minimum recovery from surgery of this kind is 3 weeks, max 6 weeks... he would have saved himself two weeks, plus the all star break... but much better now that leave it for the summer!!

Terrible how he never did that in recent years... minor problem with maximum effectiveness from surgical intervention

The only concerning part is they might rush him back which I hope isn’t the case. Hopefully the new additions provide the spark we need where we won’t be desperate for OGs return and he can take his time to recover.

bone spur is easily removable and it needs 3 to max 6 weeks of recovery... each medics have their own school of thought, but with the all star break ahead he should have opted for the surgery two weeks earlier

people really can’t grasp maintaining leverage in trade negotiations. we really aren’t used to having such a functional front office.

these are not recurring injuries... it might happen in the future but its not basketball activities related... only physiological

Nah, that's definitely not how it works, cause plenty of other great defenders aren't routinely missing almost half the season like this.

He's played in 158 games the 3 previous seasons, out of a possible 236, that is not good.

Randle/OG/Mitch gonna be well rested for that deep playoff run.

this might be the only reasonable reason that they didnt opted for surgery since day 1... though I believe with Pistons, Perry is still our right hand when doing business with them... plus Leon is the super agent who almost every front office wants to keep solid relations
