Still in play for the 3rd seed. Hold the fort until our big 3 return…

They just played the 2024 champs and I think those guys have been playing for 5 years...
Our time will come...we finally have legit pieces again and we have "winners" they just havent won it all at this level :D

Can't even be mad at that one, they're the champs, and Jokic is just silly.

Yeah, I ain't mad... it was still winnable which is a testament to this team's grit.

I'm hoping OG, Mitch, and Randle come back close to 100% at some point and we grab that 3rd seed to have a good opportunity to make the ECF.

We played well enough the first half. Missed the rest. Oh well. On to the next one.

Injuries killed the last two months. We were playing like the best team in the league and wheels fell off. Hoping to get everything back but, I'm getting tired of waiting.

12-11 since the fall from greatness. It has been very entertaining but, a lot of stress and aggravation to go with it. 13 games left in the regular season. OG came back when I expected but. Randle/Mitch I was HOPING to have back after this game. OG is out again too. If Randle wasted two plus months and can't contribute for the playoffs run.....fuq the fuqqing fuqqers!

Well, the positive we can take from it is that the Knicks looked better at the end of their opposite coast road trip than the Nuggets looked at the end of theirs in Jan when they met the first time in NY and they are much less healthy compared between the two instances, too.

Can't wait for OG, Randle and Mitch to push Hart back to the bench and Bogs/Burks out of the rotation. I know those latter two hit a couple later to help but they were a mess until those shots and have been more often than not. It's been frustrating to watch them sabotage the team's efforts.

Brunson wasn't his usual spectacular self but he was still good enough to be the reason the Knicks had a chance to win it at all. iHart was a beast and when Mitch returns the Knicks will be set against any team as far as center possessing 3 different types of 5s to throw out there.

The other Nova boys didn't have the strongest game but I’m most concerned about Hart, the fickle fleeting confidence in his jump shot is an issue. Donte just needs to be slotted back down to his role once players return and he'll be fine but Hart's jumper might never be solved.

Deuce looks like he's settled into being at least a dependable game to game role player with periodical outstanding games, this is encouraging. Although, the Knicks guard rotation outside of him, Brunson and Donte looks bleak if the Knicks are relying on Burks to not suck more often than not.

Without a healthy OG, Randle and Mitch, the Knicks are vulnerable to teams with size and/or athleticism, especially the playoff talented ones they will see after the regular season. They can catch just about any team off guard once with their tenacity but a 7 game series isn't catching anyone.

Tough game but good road trip, the Knick now need to go 3-1 or 4-0 in this home stand against below .500 teams if they want to fight for HCA, let alone getting into the 3rd seed with a strong finish the final 9 games after that. The Cavs still have multiple games on them and the Magic aren't going away.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Realize we were missing 43 pts from the last game in OG & Randle. Which we won in MSG by like 40. With either Randle or OG we win.

Jokic was a +30 against us which is just stupid lol. We've been able to defend pretty much everyone the last month except for him. We had no answers which is a testament to just how dominant he can be.

Fully healthy, I think we give that Nuggets team much more of a shot. Having BOTH Mitch and Hartenstein to throw at Jokic makes a big difference and having OG's versatility on defense really opens up how we can defend the rest of the team and we can even throw OG on Jokic for a possession or 2 on a switch.

Randle's physicality would also make Gordon work a bit more.

I didn't love Murray's antics throughout the game. Felt like he was playing on tilt and the takedown on Burks was unnecessary.

Anyway, great road trip all things considered. Hopefully we get OG back within the next few games after some more rest for the elbow.

Loss sucks, particularly because of the Pelicans loss, but can't ask for much more than we did. Making up ground is hard when all of your prime competition is also honed in.

considering Randle/Mitch out and OG playing half the games, it was a great road trip.

+/- is such a flawed raw stat and doesn't mean **** most of the time.. but in his case it shows you everything you need to know.

so much negativity. we still have a chance at the number one seed.
I wonder how many are actual Knicks fans in here.

I was kinda impressed it was 90-88 at one point with like 8 mins left in the game. Considering our significant size disadvantage vs this team.

This is a team where you need OG, Randle, and Mitch back...those are like our 3 most physical players.

Playing teams like Denver and Boston really shows how much value OG and Mitch bring. That length and strength, while on low usage, is so pivotal. We kept up with Denver offensively while missing our front court. We just couldn't get stops or rebound the ball. Those two completely change that dynamic. We move on to the next.

But no new injuries = win.

The minutes distribution was very reasonable last night. No one over 40 minutes except Deuce at 44. Murray only played 34. Not sure how much longer Deuce will start, but in using him to guard Curry, Murray and the like, I think he should sit when they sit, not play 10 extra minutes.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
