I feel like this Brunson season is going down as a better peak than a lot of PGs with greater fame / reputations. Notably Kyrie and Dame.

Knicks should at least be in the ECF this season and their core is primed to peak within the next couple years. I wouldn't be surprised if Giannis asks out within that timeframe with the Knicks being one of the favored destinations.

His own opponent literally had a 50 point outing in the previous game.

He’s playing outstanding basketball but stuff like this isn’t necessary. Just acknowledge he’s playing great. You and I both know he’s not the best player in the league.

It doesn’t matter who the Knicks are playing, Brunson is coming off a season where he just averaged 29PPG on very solid splits, while leading his team to 50 wins. He had a crap ton of 40 point games, had games of 50+, 60+, just scored most points ever in a Knicks playoff game.

A truly remarkable season. One that Kyrie has never come close to as a #1

I could definitely see them going to the finals tbh. Celtics will struggle to contain their rebounding and OG is going to be a menace defensively. The only thing that I could see benefitting the Celtics is Holiday will make Brunson work very hard on offense.

Understandable position, I disagree with it though...at least wrt the latter two; I'd still take a healthy Giannis over Jalen.
