I am pretty sure he is still retired….

Jay wright would NEVER accept the job under this circumstance EVEN if he wanted to coach again.


Thibs is the coach until he retires or he gets bounced in r1 2024-25 & 2025-2026.

Rollie told Jay "don't mess with happy." And Jay witnessed Rollie in the NBA.

I would absolutely take the chance on this given my reservations about Thibs' personality/style, and how we've seen it implemented so far.

I understand Thibs gets results in some important categories, so the response to, "and replace him with whom?" isn't as easy as it would be if he was just a straight up terrible coach across the board. Jay Wright is one of the options that would answer the question satisfactorily to me.

I'm not sure if you guys haven't listened what they are saying about Thibs. They vouch for him, stand next to him and possibly willing to let him fck their wives if be. I have never seen Thibs smile and chuckle this much in a season. I have big supporter that Thibs need to extend that bench during the regular season and tighten it during the playoffs. But WTF do I know because he has been winning when players start to drop like flies.

Donte said it best... look at the roster and most players are having career years. Brunson is skyrocketing, Randle changed his playstyle, DDV, iHart, Josh Hart and McBride had career years. Precious was unlocked from filler to a role player. To not give Thibs the proper due BUT TO GIVE THE KEYS TO JAY WRIGHT TODAY sounds ridicuous.
