LONDON -- There probably will be a movie made about the South Sudan basketball team someday. And the players representing the war-torn young nation added a powerful and dramatic scene Saturday night in a moment the raucous crowd at O2 Arena won't soon forget.
LeBron James made a driving layup with eight seconds left to prevent what would've been an historic upset and Team USA escaped with a 101-100 victory.

The South Sudanese came out locked in and they were dropping straight up bombs from deep and they were outworking us on both end.
We would have lost if not for LeBron and Steph. I dunno if this is because we didn't take them seriously or whatever but those dudes were no joke. Big, physical, good guard play and they were knocking down clean looks. They had us on the ropes for 3 and 2/3rds of the game

It gives me great joy to see Embiid sucking because he can’t get away with flopping anymore

This is what happens when you don't take things seriously. You would think that as professional athletes they'd treat every game seriously. But apparently the guys they picked thought they can just sleep walk to victory.

Maybe their PG just isn't a serious fellow

Dream teams used to come out, not to win, but to see how big they could win.
LeBronification of the league is sooo buddy buddy, so its more of All-star game intensity.
