Can we get Divo back at the end of his contract?

Post#1 » by The KnicksFix » Thu Oct 10, 2024 9:44 pm

I’m just wondering this. I know his contract is up at the end of the 26-27 season, which means if we win a chip, (or 3 - one can hope) during the remainder of his contract, can we potentially resign him, especially given the expected raise in salary cap? I believe KAT, Brunson, OG are the only 3 under contract up until that season. I mean seeing this video just got me thinking about the chemistry this team could have had, had it not been for Randle :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm pretty sure the Knicks will have stuff planned out. Might not be DDV, though.

There's a better chance they trade back for him than sign him in FA lol

Legally we should be able to trade for him at training camp time next year. The cost will depend on the type of season he has. If he has a Nets year 1 Bridges kind of season, that price is going to be HIGH.

Dont get me wrong, I like our talent now, but we lost a 3 players that had fire and intensity...Ihart , Randle, and Ragu....OG and Mikal are very laid back. I would like to replenish some of that.

This trade almost felt like giving up Starks for Sprewell.
