Thibs is a mad man would prob run Deuce and Brunson a ton.

7-man rotation in early November incoming.

Kolek's defense and nba fitness/strength may not be there this season for him to overtake Payne who is a decent backup 14 min PG type. I hope I'm wrong.

i don't think he can "take" it. if he plays well, even really well, cam will still return to his role again after recovering from injury. kolek's a rookie and most coaches are big on players not losing their spot to injuries.

in fact, if he does look ready and like an obviously superior longterm option, the front office will double down on showcasing cam for the trade deadline rather than factoring him into their playoffs plans

i guess my point is, i hope he shows out, but we should all know by know to be patient about rookies coming along under thibs and not get frustrated if cam isn't erased from the rotation just because kolek is playing well

Gotta lock in. We know he can pass and create but Thibs is probably looking at effort defensively. Know your assignments on the floor.
