“There is a lot to like about Sanders’ package of skills. He is poised, tough and accurate with a natural feel for touch and layering the football. But one of the main concerns is the inconsistent way he manages the pocket, drifting or welcoming negative plays by holding onto the football. The blame for the number of sacks Sanders has taken at Colorado doesn’t entirely fall on the offensive line.”
Sanders reminds me of Jordan Love, but without the high-end physical traits, because they both use athletic movements to skillfully access different throwing platforms. Sanders doesn’t have Love’s size or arm strength, however, which is a concern when playing that style of game. Nonetheless, Sanders’ ball placement and toughness will give him a chance to become an established NFL starter.”
“Like his father, Sanders’ confidence easily can be mistaken for arrogance,” Brugler said. “But he doesn’t allow outside pressure to shrink his on-field play, and his Colorado teammates love him.”
“I don’t know how the Giants feel,” Brugler said,” but I do believe Brian Daboll can get the most out of Sanders in the NFL.”

The good news for y'all is, our schedule is the easiest of any team, as our opponents have a combined win% of .279. It's so easy that Tankathon doesn't even put any team in the "toughest opponents" category. Titans twice, Jets, Raiders, and Colts.

I'm glad the NFL made a demonstrative statement against the LB that laid the hit on Lawrence

Yeah, I don't think he learned his lesson though
It's whatever at this point. Texans are a sh*t show, I don't really care. I'm more mad because he isn't out for the season due to the hit, it's to get surgery on his shoulder which caused him to miss the prior 2 games. He shouldn't've been out there in the first place
I respect the toughness he shows, but the org has to step in and tell him he can't play through injuries like that, it's just not worth it, especially in a losing season.

Brutal hit and kudos to the Goddell for the suspension. Glad Lawrence is okay too.
If something like that happened in the NBA and if it was a Knick player involved getting hit, I bet Adam Silver does little to nothing or the bare minimum.
But joking aside, I do hope this discourages several QBs for the fake sliding some of them do. NOT saying Lawrence was doing that as he was clearly giving himself up and sliding and the hit was super late and unnecessary but guys like Mahomes especially are very tricky with the sliding or going out of bounce. Some defenders ease up as they get close and it allows Mahomes to get some extra yardage. One of these days one of these defenders isn't going to ease up and he's going to get hit hard.

Are in or out on Lawrence if the chance to get Ward or Sanders is there?
