KNICK FAMILY!!!!!
Read on Twitter

We started off the New year with a win against the Jazz...A team we had a lot of trouble with 18 games ago-a team that stopped our 4 game win streak...This time we had no Brunson, no Deuce and no Mitch..They wouldnt stop this one.. This win completes our fourth 9 game winning streak under the Thibs coaching regime. For the fifth time in almost 5 seasons we will be going for a 10 game winning streak! Will our Knicks break thru? It won't be easy...

Every Knick that got minutes played a needed role in accomplishing the win.

Note: OKC lost an In-Season-Chip game to Milwaukee* they didnt include that game in their current streak.
If they did- they would be on a 7 game winning streak.

I like our chances-not because I'm being a Homer...I like them -because- just like the Cavs -IMO, OKC had a moment vs the Bucks-as did the Cavs vs ATL- where they could have solidified their dominance-Yet, they didn't. That's not to say they are not one of the best teams. I'm just saying that I believe our Knicks are smarter, mentally tougher and physically stronger. I think we have accomplished more with less. Not to mention, for this game- OKC will be playing us on the 2nd game of a back to back. I dont care how good you are, that gives the opponent an edge. Now-clearly if we don't have Brunson that hurts us and maybe OKC has an edge with their bench. I have no idea who will be available from our bench AND whether OKC's bench hurts us in this setting- remains to be seen... Finally, we play very well when all eyes are on us- game will be on NBA-TV...

LETS GO KNICKS!!!!!!

Getting iHart into foul trouble will go a long way to helping us win.

Like us, they have a lot of guys that regularly make strong contributions.

If Brunson isn’t totally fit, rest him, because this will probably be a war

Time to send a message. We need a victory over a top 3 team in the league. Eventually will have to go through Cavs, Celtics or OKC(even though its gonna be Denver).

To me OKC is as legit as they come. If they are healthy come playoff time, no one in the west will beat them. SGA is to me the MVP so far this season.

Beating them on the road would be a massive accomplishment. If we potentially win without Brunson I would be shocked. If we can win on the road against such a formidable team, I would be much more confident we can truly win a title this season. Anyways going to be fun.

To me OKC and Boston are the two teams in the league I'm least confident in regards to a playoff series. Not saying we couldn't potentially beat them with a fully healthy team, but these two teams have the defense and offense in place.

We have to take good care of the ball. TWolves were having their way against OKC by being physical until that stretch in the third quarter when they became careless with the ball.

A loss on the road against the top seeded WCF team that is on par with Cleveland for the best record in the entire league would hardly be a vibe-killer IMO. A win however would be a big boost. The only true vibe-killer would be like a big blowout loss or something where we are getting dominated which I don't think will happen.

Slow start will be hard to overcome against a team like this. I also worry about our D against a much stronger team than recent opponents

This is the hardest test for the Knicks this season with the good vibes they're bringing. Can Wingstop clamp down on SGA? Can KAT dominate his matchup vs. Hartenstein? Will Brunson play? (I think he will) Will Thibs lean more on his bench or will he play his starters 40+ minutes vs. this young team? (He will)

Looking at this game, if the Knicks pull out a W vs. the best in the West, it will show the rest of the league this team is coming for the title.

I wonder if Brunson will play. McBride we may not see for a while based on recent hamstring injuries of OG and Precious but we don’t know the severity of that injury

They lost to a inferior Dallas team(compared to what they have this season) and never faced Denver. I doubt they can beat either of those teams so lets not worry about them. Celtics are the biggest issue because they are stylistically bad for us, no other reason

A game of checkpoint while I won't put much weight initially, but if Brunson and Mcbride take a rest on purpose to play this one, I would raise my expectation. ;)
