Most likely not Achilles and a severe LisFranc can sometimes show up on Xray.
It could end up being minor or it could still end up being worst case a season ender. MRI likely will tell full story.
In cases like this if we get the news quickly it usually means the injury is minor. If it takes a while to get out it usually means injury is worse and they are seeking 2nd opinions to confirm the severity.

Watch the expert internet doctor be dead wrong.
It's OG. He's out until the playoffs. Probably the rest of the year.

He's the best we got for near real time speculating as he has hit on numerous non contact injury stuff for other players.
With that said while he was basically ruling out achilles he most definitely couldnt rule out severe foot ligament damage. So it still could be something fairly serious. And he didnt entirely rule out Lis Franc either.

Serious or not, when it's OG, that's 20 games out, at least.

I would guess if we are lucky he will be out 2 months. Which actually might be a blessing is disguise since it would keep him fresh for the playoff run . If we are unlucky he’s out for the season obviously. I guess it could be something less serious and maybe he’s out until after the all star break but I’m expecting maybe April going by his recovery track record. Again if we are lucky

I'm a doctor, just not of medicine so I'll go with my magic ball. It says Mitch and OG will both return this month after the all-star break. I would have created a YouTube video but I don't have any followers.

When have the Knicks been lucky?

Should’ve traded him for Zion before Thibs broke him

Then again, Zion probably would’ve lasted a week after Tom got thru with him

Unfortunately that usually is the case. Lets see. Boucher or Stewart trade may make even more sense now.

I don't give a sh*t anymore. Could care less if he's back in 1 day or 100

I'm sorry Lebron hurt you. We are still 3rd in the East and 6th in the NBA though. We beat the Rockets Monday we move up to 4th! Low key OG is faking it. It's the only way he could get Thibs to sit him down.

Playing him 36+ minutes per game was always foolish.
This guy should be treated like a sick baby turtle at all times.

Rockets are going to whip the Knicks ass. Now starts the dive down the standings.

Played every game so far this season and looked damn good while doing it for the most part. Damn shame Thibs ruined another potential finals run...overplaying and injuries, the only way he knows. I'm still hopeful for post all-star break return for both him and Mitch. Hope is all we've had for 50 years.

Thibs defenders, stans and apologists avoiding this like the plague. Who knew playing an injury prone player a career high in minutes could result in a non contact injury. Who could have seen this coming?
Clowns.

I’d still do it and I think the pelicans would also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then try and trade either Kat or Bunson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t think we can win anything of significance with both on the same team defensively!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
