If I were a Knick I would be pissed after CLE. Your top 5 in the league and are getting disrespected by even your loyalist fans. I would come out and try to stomp the next team I play. Have some damn pride. How the team plays today will tell us a lot about their character and mentality. Should show us if they got what it takes.

That's the script every team has gotten since time began. If they can't compete today you know their team pride is not strong regardless of Thibs being useless against superior coaches.

Mikal hasn’t scored 20+ since earlier in the month against Houston. If he’s not aggressive and has another game where he’s pretty much a non factor offensively then I’m not sure how we win this one

Always remember one game doesn't mean jack in the grand scheme of things unless it's game 7 of the NBA finals.

I think we compete and only lose by 20

Prediction:

-> Thibs starts Precious over Deuce; Kornet and KP camp out in the paint
-> We keep it close in the 1Q, by the 2nd or 3rd, we're down 10+
-> KAT is involved in every P&R action by Boston and when he's not... Brunson is put into the P&R as their plan B
-> Thibs mixes in a bit of switch and trapping but keeps going back to drop coverage
-> One of OG or Mikal has a good shooting night. The other one is silent.
-> BOS shoots twice as many three's as us and shoots the 3's at over 40%...
-> We lose by 15+; Thibs says the same BS in the postgame as he always does against the top 3 teams...

Game will be closer but Celtics will pull away in the 4th. Most likely outcome just by watching the team all season.

If Thibs can't win any of the big games and we lose 2nd round with a wimper (5 game series) it will be really interesting to see how we pivot at HC because I don't know how many great HC's are going to be willing to have JB's dad as a lead assistant, earned or not.
