Other thread titles considered:

The Delon Wright Winning Streak continues here.

But I went with Grimes, who, despite putting up all-star numbers, is 3-19 in his 22 games with Philly. Isn't that special.

- - -

Fun fact. Wright's not our only undefeated PG. The great Frank Williams was 2-0 in his 2 starts, prior to the Marbury trade, which seemed to break him. Just as he was getting his shot, he was benched behind Strawbury. And, nothing against Steph. Nothing that happened was his fault. Isiah expected too much from him and Layden traded too much for him.

- - -

Historical query? Does anyone remember, there was a game where a player had this long streak going. I don't remember what it was, might have been most games with a 3 pointer or something meaningless like that, and as the game closed out, the Knicks basically triple teamed him to keep that player from continuing his streak. I thought that was funny. It might not have been 3 pointers. I don't remember, and google is no help, but I remember watching that. The announcers critisized the Knicks players for doing it, but I didn't care. I still thought it was funny. The game was over. It was just gamesmanship.

A free vote up if anyone remembers what I'm talking about.

- - -

And finally . . .

Who remembers this? When the Knicks players (I don't see Ewing, he might have been too grown up for that, but maybe he was there), but a bunch of the Knicks players broom for a photo-op after sweeping Philly in the playoffs in 1989.

I love history.

Here's Grimes most famous play as a Knick. Game 5 vs. Heat in playoffs

After banging knees with Bam Adebayo on a screen, he limped back into the play …
Image
Then he stayed in front of Butler and took the ball away …

Just a suggestion. I wish all GT starters would add the date and time in the title.

I want Grimes to go off every game he plays for the rest of the season. I want Philly to give him a good contract and further limit their cap space for the next few years.

I also want the Knicks to win the game

If Tobias Harris was playing, blowout loss for the Knicks
Instead it will be a pedestrian loss

Whenever Grimlikina faces a defense that actually wants to defend him, he becomes a turnover-prone, horribly inefficient chucker.

Mikal and OG bout to put that boy in jail and each drop a 25-piece on him.

Never forget we had terrible posters who thought the 6ers were a better team than us.

Even went so far as to say that maxey was better than brunson. Inexcusable and frankly disgusting.

They were envious of them getting pg13. Embarrassing.

And said that embiid was better than kat. Delusional and unbecoming.

Now that team is so trash they're eliminated from the playoffs and tanking for lotto position.

I still have no clue as to why people thought that was a good signing. He is old as hell and an empty calorie player who has always folded. I Love that he is maxed out in philly.

With us having to travel to Cleveland on Wednesday for National TV, I hope we don't play with our food too much tomorrow and keep guys under 35 minutes so we can at least not get embarrassed on ESPN the following day...

With that being said I fully expect a double OT thriller with Hart, OG, and Mikal playing 45+ minutes each while Adem Bona somehow goes for 40 and 20 while hitting 8 threes in the process
