Now that the stage is set, what are your predictions?

Underrated storyline is we get 4 shots at winning a game against a contender

its going to get rough. boston is a well oiled machine just working. we need some unexpected stuff to happen, if we wanna have a chance.

I’m trying to keep my expectations in check.

We just need to keep unforced errors to a minimum and play loose and get after it. The pressure is on the NBA champs to beat us.

You live by the 3, you die by the 3. Boston will eventually get cold from behind the arc. This ain't the regular season anymore.

I don't think you'll see a coaching change at this stage of the season anymore but one can always hope...

lol no, i wasnt thinking of a coaching change. more in the likes of the bench actually showing up and mitch finding his footing or OG giving us a kawhi esque series. or maybe the celtics actually get into a real slump for 3 games and start shaking if they lose a couple. something very out of the order. i dont see us winning under "normal" circumstances

Let's talk strategy. I'm not with the doomerism, we are here and we need to fight and win.

We're not stopping Tatum when he goes on a heater. I'm not even deluding myself. I know the conventional idea is to send help and let others beat you but I think against a team like this that's a horrible idea.

We have to take away their primary weapon, the three ball.

My question to everyone is: How do we do that?

It is what it is at this point. The players need to move the ball and look to get each other going in spite of coaching.

Play with pace, feed KAT, get OG and Mikal good looks and in crunch time give the Captain the ball

we simply cant with brunson and kat on the floor. the only thing (like the lakers did) would be bench your center and leave the paint pretty much open, which we cant do obviously. they had success defending the three but they lost because randle and gobert ate them up down low. we gotta play kat and brunson. mikal, josh and og need to play a hell of series running these guys off the perimeter and honestly we just gotta hope we make it hard enough for them to not make it rain on us all series.

as long as we keep the games close i believe jalen brunson can close some of these games. this time he might not be the best player in the series but he has the biggest cojones. the problem will be keeping the games close.

We are terrible at defending the 3, have a superstar starting PG who blows defensive rotations and causes us to scramble, facing a team that spams 3’s.
