Netanyahu just narrowly avoided losing power in Israel this month so either this was his way of flexing after a close call or because he wants to do this in the remaining time he has in power.

Israel is in a permanent war state that cannot end well for them no matter how much harm they inflict on the region. Support for Israel will be limited. They really are on their own. The U.S. won't save them and Trump always sells out to the highest bidder which is not Israel, but other Arab nations with resources.

I don't think Trump has any control over this TBH. And I expect him to distance himself from it as well. I could be wrong, but Trump only embraces what he thinks (whether true or not) helps him and this certainly does not.

Except for maybe Qatar, most of these Sunni Arab and Muslim nations are staunch Israeli supporters (politically and economically)

Newsome live press conference now. Fed Judge gave CA back control of National Guard. He's destroying Trump. They haven't breeched the war yet - just CA situation.

I certainly would never take anything our govt says these days at face value, but the U.S. was supposedly about to sit down with Iran in Oman this coming Sunday. It does sound like Israel informed the U.S. of their intentions so some foreknowledge is implied. Since nobody is a trustworthy actor in this you're right that we'll have to see what comes out about this.

Per Trump, I'm saying he is capable of abandoning Israel just like he abandons everyone eventually. There are no stable international relations with the U.S. right now even for supposed allies.
