Who's #3???

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New_York_Knicks_head_coaches

Notes:

Dantoni was added, following a conversation in the first thread. Woodson got votes in the first contest, which I'm not sure I understand, but I might be wrong. Woody did have a wining record and a lot of these coaches didn't.

Van Gundy was fun and had some success. Thibs had some success. Nobody remembers Joe Lapchick, who brought NY to the finals a few times (never won). Rick Pitino, for those who remember him, was also fun.

Not everyone remembers Hubie Brown, but he was the coach during the Bernard King playoff run and Ewing's first year and a bit. Ewing & Hubie had a bit of a public feud and Hubie didn't last long after that.

If anyone saw the movie Sweetwater (and I haven't, but I heard about it here I think), Joe Lapchick was the coach in that film, played by Jeremy Piven

Blast from the past article about Ewing. I didn't realize he was dealing with knee problems so early in his career.

Feel free to debate and change other people's minds . . . if such a thing is possible. I'm not sure it is.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

Mike Woodson

40+ attempted three pointers, mid range, post ups, spin moves, PnR and PnP and switching defense... a decade ahead of the trend :)

Hire him again as Ass HC
Strength and Honour!
