Wizards should trade Khris Middleton and additional contracts for him. Suns would send Beal and at least some 2nd round picks. I wonder what other teams would make sense trading for Beal.

Thank goodness the crappy CBA won't let the Knicks sign Beal for the vetmin...but that won't stop people from mentioning it a bazzilion times. Just know they can't and be at peace.

i really don't see how they can buy him out. it's 110 mill he's owed.

He technically has a Player Option for the season after next year. Are you even allowed to buyout players who are under contract for multiple seasons?

I mean Beal, at the minimum, is objectively a really good deal. His reputation is what it is because his contract is bloated not because he's a terrible NBA player and he the team he joined was a tire fire waiting to happen... He, at the worst, would be a great 6th man to have for a contending team.

There is no team that makes sense for Beal unless they are heavily compensated for taking his contract. Best case scenario is he accepts a buyout. I am not even sure he can play as a from the bench instant scorer role on any contender at this point.

They would have to come to an agreement on that option. I think waiving him is where the play option gets difficult. I don’t know if they can do that unless he opts into or out of the option to give his contract a set end date.

stretched for 5 years would be $22 million a year
they're really stuck with him
trading him to the Sixers + draft assets for Paul George might be an option though

even if they could buy him out, does bradley beal care so much about winning that he'd take on a smaller check? he might just be content with cashing his fat checks and playing 50 games a year. i wouldn't even blame him

Sun is shining
Pacers still lost the chip
Halliburton still has a torn Achilles
It’s a good day

Beal has a no trade clause and has said many times over that his family likes being in Phoenix. Buying him out of $110 million left on his deal would be insane, I don't think he's going anywhere.

I doubt he's that smart. Besides, after his daddy blatantly taunted and disrespected Giannis on the court, it's clear where Tyrese gets his classless attitude. He's a chip off the ol' block.
