This is a great minimum contract signing. Dude can shoot high volume and can also handle the ball. We needed a creator from the bench. Can’t ask for anything better at the minimum. He also a lot of playoff experience

Not bad, replaces some of what we lost with IQ off the bench. Need more wing and frontcourt help next

I get we needed to strengthen the bench but Clarkson is a chuck and duck on steroids. Would have preferred to have a 3&D type.

For the vet min I guess I can't complain too much. We needed another ball handler/scorer but he isn't the greatest decision maker, he has been inefficient for years and he hasn't been a good defender. He is also 33 so he could continue to decline as a small scoring guard. I guess he will be nice to have if we are lacking some scoring punch on the 2nd unit but it feels like Cam Payne part 2 imo. When he is hot you will love him but when he isn't he will drive you crazy.

Hopefully he looks better with a more talented veteran group but I don't have high expectations for him. I don't think you can play he and Brunson together and don't like the idea of potentially having one poor defending guard on the court at all times.
