He's a solid bench piece. 7'1" wingspan, 6'8" height, big ole booty a la Mason, and hits the three's at a 38% clip. Hustle player. Defense might not be on Precious' level but the ability to spread the floor and his muscle down low is going to help.

Suddenly, we got one of the better benches in the NBA, folks! Yabu, Hart, Deuce, Clarkson is sick.

Maybe Horford was farther down the line with Warriors or something. But Yabu is also 10 years young and in his prime. Horford started to look pretty bad in our series. Yabu is pretty physical but also has some skill.

Now we have a lot of optionality in terms of how to construct lineups when only one of Brunson or KAT is on the floor

I like this move. This is a versatile move here. Can start. Can split time with Mitch. Shoots the 3 well and hits his FTs.

Love it, he's a better player than Nance, younger than him, and while Horford is really good he's about to be 40.

Yabu was able to play the smallball 5 really well, and was solid at the 4 as well. We needed a 4 more than wing, you can have McCullar and Dadiet compete for wing minutes, there was no actual 4 man on the team.

I watched a lot of Philly, and this dude is GOOD. I haven't been around much to chat about the off-season, but he was my #1 target for that MLE.

His length, basketball IQ, strength, passing and offensive versatility make him someone who can really productively eat minutes up front. We'll be glad to have him in New York.
