I feel for Mitch because I don't this any NBA team would allow him to do any of this on offense
He would have to go overseas like Dwight Howard and Hassan Whiteside

And now you don't have to.

He teased that as well in the video at the end by making three free throws. Although with editing he actually attempted 5 times as many free throws before editing the video to include the three that were actually successful.

Free throws, with Music!
Mitch does well shooting FTs here, but there's no defense like only he feels in a game.

All jokes aside -- despite years of watching these videos from him -- he looks leaner.

Still no arc when he shoots, it's the same flat shot and misses.

This is true, but at least his skinny self will look good taking bad shots

I was about to post the same. He looks lean and fit. Last summer his videos were about injury rehab, now he's coming off a season where he finished healthy, and now he's building on that, looking mobile. Just a little more offense as the OP video shows, would go a long way. And coach Brown may give him a bit more freedom

Glad to see his body seems healthy, especially below the knee. His weight was a real issue in previous years risking his career on that foot.
Nobody uses (and abuses) a 7 footer like Thibs, so I suspect we will see a healthier Mitch but also a scaled back usage Mitch. I’d love to see him play 70 games and average close to 10 rebounds in 24 minutes.
My hunch with Brown is that he’ll try to play extended minutes of small ball with Yabu at the 5 off the bench and then Hart on the court to close games. Mitch is probably looking at 18-24 mpg tops with no more drop coverage, which will fundamentally change his opportunities to rebound/rim protect.
Haters will be ready to hate but really it’s just a modern coach taking away the old fossil system that benefited traditional 7 footers.

So who is in charge of teaching Mitch to shoot his FTs? Are the Knicks behind this or did he get his own private trainer, in the hoped of avoiding perpetual humiliation at the line?

I really want to see this kid have his best season as a pro.
he's very likeable imo, despite his taste in music.
