I'm not sure about Kat, but the one thing I've noticed is Brunson doesn't quite seem like he can get into the lane like he used to.

Is he tired? Older and slowing down? Have teams started to get more physical and scouted him differently?

I don't know but I am worried. I won't feign ignorance.

I’d say Thibs schemed him open more than Brown is doing because Brunson needs that screen or pick to get that half step on players but he’s elite at using that. Hopefully Brown isn’t thick headed and thinks Brunson is like Maxey or Morant and just beats people off the dribble whenever.

It’s not an excuse for Brunson or any wish to return to Thibs one player centric offense, just that a good offense with Brunson will take that into account and also get more involvement and 3s from everyone else
